The shipments will be allowed to leave the Port of Lewiston a half-hour apart starting at 8 p.m., and will join up upon entering Moscow, said ITD spokesman Adam Rush, to expedite travel through the city. The shipments will separate north of Moscow and travel a half-hour apart.
One shipment is 21.5 feet wide, 78 feet long, 14.11 feet high and weighs 85,000 pounds, and is expected to reach the Idaho/Montana border in one night, while the other two will require an additional day.
