[Vision2020] "USPS vs. FedEx/UPS" Concerns

I don't understand why we have a government service that delivers stuff to my place when it can just be emailed to me. Why not swap our US mailbox with a an official US email inbox.

And remember, if the postal service is so bad, why does UPS use it to deliver packages from terminals to the final recipient?
