Free Public Activities at the Moscow Food Co-op in March
Music
The Moscow Food Co-op’s Tuesday Night Music Series concerts are held every Tuesday from 5 - 6:30 p.m. featuring some of the best musicians on the Palouse. The free concerts also coincide with weekly specials and hot entries made fresh in the Co-op's Deli
The Co-op is located at 121 East Fifth Street in downtown Moscow. For more information, contact Co-op music coordinator Dave Billin via email at music at moscowfood.coop.
Please join us for these free concerts in March:
March 1: Yellow Dog Flats of Moscow, Idaho. acoustic folk, blues, and Americana favorites.
March 8: Thorn Creek Express of Genesee, Idaho. Traditional bluegrass music.
March 15: Tate Wilson of Moscow, Idaho. Original acoustic folk, country, and Americana.
March 22: David Roon of Moscow, Idaho. Original acoustic folk.
March 29: Gefilte Trout of Moscow, Idaho. Klezmer and old-world Gypsy music.
Co-op Kids!
Children and their caregivers are welcome for the following Co-op Kids activities. Co-op Kids meets weekly and all events are all free, with snacks and materials donated by the Moscow Food Co-op.
9 a.m., Tuesday, March 1: Meet at the Moscow Food Co-op Café to make essential oil air fresheners.
9 a.m., Tuesday, March 8: Meet at the Moscow Food Co-op Café to learn about Earthworms.
9 a.m., Tuesday, March 15: Meet at the Moscow Food Co-op Café to make T-shirt bags.
9 a.m., Tuesday, March 22: Meet at the Moscow Food Co-op Café for planting.
9 a.m., Tuesday, March 29: Meet at the Moscow Food Co-op Café to create bulb art.

Co-op Mamas and Papas Group
The Co-op Mamas and Papas group for expecting parents and parents of newborns meets each Wednesday at 9:30 – 11 a.m. in the Co-op Deli. In March, meet for conversation and informal talks by experienced parents and experts. Complementary beverages will be provided. Those interested in receiving notifications about speakers and special coupons can sign up for our email list by sending a message to babies at moscowfood.coop.
Co-op’s Good Food Book Club in March
The Co-op’s Good Food Book Club will meet Monday, March 28, from 7-8:30 p.m. at a private residence (email bookclub at moscowfood.coop for directions) to discuss “Small is Possible: Life in a Local Economy” by Lyle Estill. “Small is Possible” is available at BookPeople on Main Street in Moscow.
