I don't know the height of the traffic lights, but attached are some pictures of
the demo load that they transported up highway 12 that is now parked at Lolo Hot
Springs. Some friends and I were on a motorcycle trip the weekend before last
and stayed at Lolo Hot Springs. We talked to the bored security guards for a
while before we hit the road, and I took some pictures.
This is the full-size megaload, not a mini-megaload. I understand that it sits
on a trailer with 128 tires and weighs something like 500,000+ pounds.

Just looking at that photo caused me to wonder whether anyone has considered
whether the traffic control lights are safe from these large loads. Anyone know?
