[Vision2020] Forecast Changed in a Few Hours: NWS: 7-11-2011: Dangerous Heat Across Parts of Central US... Moscow's Cool Week Temps.

In the few hours since the post below was sent today at about 10:30 AM, the
National Weather Service changed the weeks forecast for Moscow, Idaho to
significantly warmer predictions for next Sun. and Mon. at 81 and 90 F for
the high temp.

While large areas of the US are blasted by excessive heat, the next
weeks forecast for Moscow, Idaho predicts today Monday as the warmest
day, at a mild for summer high of 81 F., with the other six days highs
ranging from 69 to 77 F.

...Dangerous Heat Across Parts of Central US...

Hot and humid conditions across a large portion of the central U.S.
are creating a very dangerous situation. Temperatures near 100 degrees
are expected in the central and southern plains and middle and lower
Mississippi Valley today. Heat index values will top 115 degrees in
some places and a wide swath of heat advisories, heat watches and
excessive heat warnings have already been issued. The excessive heat
is expected to continue through Tuesday across much of this area.
