Re:  Vehicle Burglaries

On Thursday, January 13, 2011 at about 12:06 a.m., in the 800 to 900 block of Mabelle Street, officers discovered several vehicles that were burglarized.  Based on the evidence in the area it appears that an individual wearing a "skater type" shoe entered 10 vehicles.  The suspect traveled east on Mabelle from Lynn Street to the area of Blaine Street.  Officers followed a foot trail in the snow until it was lost in the area of Berman Creek Side Park.

As a reminder, vehicle burglaries are usually a crime of opportunity.  To avoid being a victim please take a moment and ensure your vehicle is locked and all valuable items are taken out of the vehicle, put in the trunk or placed out of sight.

The Moscow Police Department is asking anyone with information on this incident or observed an individual in the area of Mabelle Street in the early morning hours of January 13, 2011 to call 882-COPS (2677) or our anonymous tip hotline at 892-3898.
