Idaho’s defense bill in a wrongful termination case is $257,913 and counting.

The tab from Holland & Hart, the private law firm handling the state’s side in 
a lawsuit filed by former Idaho Transportation Director Pam Lowe, is for March 
through December.

Lowe filed a wrongful termination case in November 2009, contending she was 
fired after refusing to bow to political pressure from the governor’s office not 
to reduce a highway contract with two of his big political contributors.
