Rose, you and Don must be so proud of Molly -- what an amazing woman, and what a great judge she'll be!

And I agree with your comments about the effect teachers have on student achievement, both in K-12 and far beyond.  My sons have benefited enormously from MHS math teacher Blanche McKinnon and Susan Hodgin of the English department, as well as, for my younger son, Ann Hart, now retired from the Junior High and Sue Bowe of McDonald.  I cannot overestimate the influence these women have had on Anthony and Jonah, and I have no doubt that Sue and Shirley contributed much, by their wisdom and character, to Molly Huskey's successes.

Thanks, all of you on the front lines of public schools.  You're my heroes.
