PRESS RELEASE
Compost Uses and Best Practices

August 18, 2011 (Moscow, Idaho) - Due to popular demand, the City of Moscow is happy to provide additional information regarding the compost product recently made available through a joint effort between the City of Moscow and Latah Sanitation, Inc.

* Compost produced and distributed at Latah Sanitation, Inc. IS SAFE for use on lawns, turf and as landscape mulch.

* The compost IS NOT RECOMMENDED for use in vegetable or flower gardens. Trace residues of broadleaf herbicide may be present and potentially affect sensitive plants.
