Woody Hayes, former head football coach of Ohio State University who absolutely refused to buy gas in Michigan when his team was on the road in Ann Arbor . . .

After a game in which Ohio State University slaughtered the University of Michigan, Woody Hayes was interviewed.  

The interviewer asked, "Coach Hayes . . . Near the end of the game, your team scored a touchdown, taking a demanding 43-point lead.  You could have simply kicked a one-point conversion.  Why did you go for 2?"

To which Woody Hayes responded, "Because I couldn't go for 3."

The season is only three weeks away, Vandals.
