"Deadline for Consideration of Legislation Funding the Government for the
Remainder of Fiscal Year 2011- If the House has not received a message
from the Senate before April 6, 2011, stating that it has passed a measure
providing for the appropriations for the departments and agencies of the
Government for the remainder of fiscal year 2011, the provisions of H.R.
1, as passed by the House on February 19, 2011, are hereby enacted into
law."

That's right, V-peeps. House Republicans are attempting to circumvent the
US Constitution.

HR 1255 will be presented to the US House of Representatives today by Eric
Cantor (R-VA), live on C-SPAN (Direct TV Channel 350).

One question, though: If, through absolute ignorance, HR 1255 passes the
House, is it passed on to the Senate . . . or not?

Note to Idaho State Democrats: "Nashville Unplugged" will be performing
at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno next Tuesday (April 5th).
Should I order you some tickets? Seeya at the bar.

Seeya round town, Moscow.
