[Vision2020] 99.999% of the World Consists of Honest People

Greetings Visionaires -

My faith in peoples' honesty has been seriously restored today.

Today, while in route from Rocklin, California to San Francisco, Rodna and
I made several munchie stops and nature breaks. As we pulled into a
Starbucks in San Rafael, Rodna realized that she did not have her cell
phone. After completely dismantling the car and baggage, we came to the
sad conclusion that she must have dropped it at one of the several stops
we made on westbound I-80.

Luckily we had my cell phone for backup. As we were entering San
Francisco, Rodna contacted AT&T and suspended her cell phone number and
deactivated the SIMS card.

Over the next couple hours we had become paranoid concerning the potential
for illegal use of her cell phone and the potential for a very expensive
subsequent cell phone bill.

Until . . .

About an hour ago an employee of a Wendy's in Dixon, California contacted
me (via my cell phone number) asking me where he should mail Rodna's cell
phone.

After expressing our gratitude Ito put it mildly), I gave him our PO box
address in Moscow in exchange for his name and address.

Sometimes you meet the greatest people on the road and don't realize it
until the phone rings.

Now, if you'lll excuse me, Rodna and I are going to the wharf for dinner.

Later, Moscow.

>From a very happily reassured . . .
