While I've never met Tom ftf, I like the guy. At the same time, when I read your post, I laughed out loud in agreement. And you prefaced your statement well.

  It's only 8 a.m. and I think I've done wrong to a good friend, Tom Hansen, with my careless dismissal of his idea for a debate between Campbell and Crabtree.  While I really think such an event is a bad idea, the vehemence with which I spoke should have been addressed to Tom personally, and I apologize to him.
