[Vision2020] Crabtree and the NRA

I'm a sportswoman and a firearms owner. I did consider her "grade" from the
NRA, and I did vote accordingly. I support and voted for Shirley Ringo
because of her responsible, mature perspective on 2nd amendment issues.

"You missed pointing out that Shirley answered your questions in a public
forum."

Since my question and her response could only be viewed in a public forum

what exactly would have been the point? The way I had it figured, if you had
adequate mental capacity to read you would have been aware that you were not
viewing a private, super secret communication. Vision 20/20 is by definition
a public forum.

In my response I'm fairly sure that I acknowlaged and thanked Ms. Ringo for
her reply. If I'm mistaken, let me take this opportunity to do so.

As to her answer, my only real complaint would be that she really didn't
give one. Spouting the standard "some of my best friends are NRA members"
line is lame as I'm sure even you would have to agree. After that she
mischaricterized a single piece of legislation and used that as her
explanation for her as bad as it gets failing grade from a respected
grassroots organization. I guess in a round about way that is providing
information and I hope sportsmen and firearms owners consider it
accordingly.

forum. She didn't avoid them, she didn't accept an invitation and then fail
to keep her commitment, she didn't make lame excuses knowing that in the end
you would use this as an opportunity to make her look bad. She showed
courage, the courage of her convictions. Maybe you don't like her answers
but now you have more information upon which to base your decisions come
election day. And so do any other voters who care to tune into the
conversation.
