[Vision2020] The 2008 Legislature and SB1427 - When Idaho Gave a Damn

John,
Not everyone that is in favor of enforcing our federal immigration
laws is a "right-wingnut". Do I think that our current immigration
policy needs improvement, yes I do. I also think that
violations of federal law is not the way for illegal immigrants to
endear themselves to our lawmakers and citizens when it comes to
those improvements. None of us gets to pick and choose which
laws we personally feel we should not obey or get prosecuted for. The
laws are there for all of us, to be obeyed or not, and for us to
personally take the consequences for our actions.
And as far as being able to identify yourself as an American citizen,
yes I do have such documentation, so did my parents and my grandparents.
Some questions to ponder: Do you think we should have open borders so
anyone can come and go as they please? Do you think that the 12-20
million estimated illegals should be granted a
blanket amnesty, even though they have in fact broken federal
immigration laws?
