Men arrested at UI sorority
Two men were arrested Friday night after the Moscow Police Department
received a report of a possible burglary at the University of Idaho's
Alpha Phi sorority.
Matthew Robinson, 20, of Moscow and Nicholas Cain, 19, of Nampa were
arrested after they reportedly said they wanted to spend the night on a
sorority sleeping porch, said Assistant Chief David Duke.
The men allegedly entered the sorority's sleeping porch through the fire
escape.
When law enforcement arrived, Robinson fled on foot, and an officer chased
and deployed a taser to stop him, Duke said. He is charged with
obstructing an officer, and additional charges may be pending.
Cain was compliant with the officers and was cited for unlawful entry and
minor in possession, Duke said.
