Ron,

What I was getting at is one of the "appointed" Board of Regents   
plans to use that "experience" to run for LOCAL public office!
Now based of the successes of the "appointed" board, he plans to bring  
that glorious tenure to local government?
Just what we need, more financial miss management and eventual  
furloughs at the local level. And we can look forward to
local appointments of out of state and out of country individuals like  
the University does?  I don't think so!

And yes, I AM thinking of replacement of the party in power that  
brought us this mess.
