I am like SOOOOOO confused, Wayne.

Are we talking about THIS Hoffman/Wilson property?

Or are we talking about THIS Hoffman/Wilson property?

Or is there yet another piece to Doug Wilson's Never-Never Land?

Inquiring minds gotta know, Wayne.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, chocolate in one hand, a drink in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO. What a ride!'"

1. People (including qualifying Tea Baggers) concerned about tax rip-offs
are urged to read about the tax exemptions listed in today's Daily News on
page 8b under Commissioners' Proceedings. This is not a complete list, but
it will give you some idea how much you are paying in taxes to support
various organizations that most of you would certainly not support except
for these legal tax loopholes.

2. Non-Sequitur, Wiley Miller

3. Wisdom from Novelist Reginald Hill:

"... Perfection is unnatural, Sergeant, because it implies the absence of
either development or decline.

Haven't you noticed it's the political parties and the religions with the
clearest notion of the perfect society that cause the most harm? Once admit
the notion of human perfectibility, and the end can be made to justify any
amount of pain and suffering along the way."

-- Reginald Hill, Pictures of Perfection

Here is a very small, local, sad example of Hill's point:

Not only is Hoffman losing his home after having his money sucked away by a
local religious organization, but unless some funds come his way, the City
of Moscow is likely to be stuck with the bill for sidewalks on north
Mountain View that were part of Hoffman's defunct attempted subdivision
requirements, unless of course the city council had the foresight to require
a performance bond.

Did they, Dan?
