Roger Falen stated:

"See Letter to the Editor in today's Dnews by Geoff and Sue Pritchard. He
quotes an ITD spokesman as agreeing that every citizen in Idaho could
oppose this and it would still have to be approved."

The quote is slightly twisted, Mr. Falen.

One of those in attendance asked the ITD and Exxon reps in words extremely
similar to . . .

"Even if every person in Idaho were against this, it would still happen as
long as Exxon 'jumped through the right hoops' [met state requirements].
Is this correct?"

To which Jim Carpenter (ITD) replied in the affirmative.

I suggest that you view the video.

In a related topic . . .

State Reps Trail and Ringo were in attendance, as well as Gresham Bouma
(candidate for state sentor of Idaho's sixth congressional district).

Although both Trail and Ringo were heavily involved in the discusison
(putting some private feet to a public fire), Gresham limited himself to
asking when a certain bridge was built.

(keep that in mind come election day, V-peeps)
