MEDIA SPECIALIST

 

The City of Moscow is seeking an upbeat energetic person to work under
the direction of the Information Systems Director to be responsible for
all City wide web development, serve as the meeting videographer and
provide publication and document management support to all city
departments.

 

The successful candidate will design, write, modify and debug web sites;
provide technical advice and assist with graphic design. The position
also requires operating a video camera to ensure the viewing public has
an understanding of City meetings sense and purpose.

 

Candidates will know the principles and techniques of modern web
development including design, programming, testing and documentation.
Candidates must understand basic photographic techniques as well as be
able to pan, tilt, and zoom camera with minimal optical degradation.
Candidates must also be able to solve problems that may occur with
equipment.

 

This is a regular part-time position working approximately nineteen
hours per week.  Normal working hours are generally flexible.  Meeting
hours for video purposes are late afternoons and Monday evenings. Pay is
up to $16.00 an hour DOE.  Applications and a complete job description
