Doesn't the style, usage, and syntax of Swiller greatly resemble that of the author of Right Mind?

I think it a great mistake to use the terms right and left indiscriminately with respect to someone's political positions. Each of us has positions on each of many different political/social issues, some of which might be characterized as right and some left. The these terms have much more meaning when used to describe a position on one single issue at a time. And then, discussion can take place on whether such characterizations are accurate, or in most cases, just phatic communication like the squawking of ravens.

Dan the Area Man wrote, in part:

I'm consistently amazed at how the progressives on this list watch more of the Fox News than I do (since I rarely watch any but channel 4), which I find mildly amusing since most here seem to lean to the left while I lean slightly to the right (I think we can still touch hands, though).

  Clearly, you're not married to a political scientist . . .

And, frankly, pairing "Fox" with "News" results in an oxymoron, perhaps the biggest oxymoron in recent times.

Leave it to Swiller, though, to try to pass this off as legitimate.
