Greetings Visionaires -
On December 9th, votes requiring a super-majority to pass, the US Senate
voted down motions to proceed with . . .
---------------------------------------------------------
H.R. 847: James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010
To amend the Public Health Service Act to extend and improve protections
and services to individuals directly impacted by the terrorist attack in
New York City on September 11, 2001

---------------------------------------------------------
That's right, V-peeps. This bill was geared toward compensation to first
responders of 9/11 for injuries incurred as a result of breathing unclean
air at "ground zero" while performing their life-saving duties.
The final vote was 57 ayes, 42 nays, 1 non-vote. As this motion required
60 "aye" votes to proceed, it fails.
And just how did Idaho's US senators vote on this bill?
Sen Mike Crapo - Nay

Sen. James Risch - Nay

Sleep well, Moscow. Idaho's U.S. senators will.
