Subject: [Vision2020] Idaho's Budget
The Idaho taxation system has been modified over the past few years to advantage landowners and businesses and place more of the burden on the sales tax, which is regressive. Wonder why?
From the Idaho Statesman:

Roll Call: Idaho Sen. Jim Risch isn't just rich, he's Kennedy-rich
Statesman staff - Idaho Statesman
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Idaho Republican Jim Risch is worth an estimated $19.29 million, making him the 13th wealthiest member of the House and Senate combined, according to Roll Call, a newspaper that covers Capitol Hill.
No other Idahoans made Roll Call's list of the "The 50 Richest Members of Congress."
Idaho real estate makes up most of Risch's wealth, including his farm and ranch property in Ada and Valley counties, valued at a minimum of $16 million. Risch built his wealth as a trial lawyer.
Another senator with Idaho ties, Democrat John Kerry of Massachusetts (who has a home in Ketchum), tops the list at $167.55 million. The late Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., trailed Risch with $15.74 million, ranking 18th.

Is he that former acting governor who shifted property tax over to sales tax? How much do you that saved him personally? How much do you think that saved the average stiff renting a 2 bedroom apartment.
If you can't do the math, buy some lottery tickets.

This article won't be reproduced in SE Idaho where he's known as only a farmer/rancher barely eeking out a living.
