[Vision2020] Press Release from Moscow Police Department

PRESS RELEASE



 

 

 

September 10, 2009

 

On September 10, 2009 at 1:10 a.m. the Moscow Police Department
responded to a 911 call from 920 Deakin Ave, the Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Fraternity for a reported fall.  Responding officers learned a female
later identified as 19 year old Amanda Andaverde of Caldwell, Idaho had
fallen from a third floor window.  Andaverde was transported to Gritman
Hospital by Moscow Volunteer Ambulance. Andaverde suffered numerous
fractures from the 27 foot fall. She was later air lifted to Kootenia
Medical Center in Couer d'Alene due to the severity of her injuries.
Andaverde has subsequently been air lifted from Kootenia Medical Center
to Harbour View Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.

 

The investigation into this incident continues. Andaverde is currently a
sophomore attending the University of Idaho studying animal and
veterinary science.
