City of Moscow & Chamber Sponsors How to Start a Small Business Workshop
Moscow, Idaho - The City of Moscow and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce
are hosting a workshop entitled How to Start a Small Business scheduled
for Thursday, September 17th, 6-9 p.m., in Moscow City Hall Council
Chambers, 206 East Third Street, Moscow, ID.
The How to Start a Small Business Workshop is part of the Idaho Small
Business Development Center business training program through
Lewis-Clark State College and will cover all of the basics on starting a
business including business feasibility, self-employment assessment,
initial market research, startup expenses, financial feasibility,
choosing a business structure, obtaining financing, determining
regulations, setting prices, creating marketing materials, and
developing a business plan.
The workshop will be taught by Randy Eriksen, Associate Professor with
the Business Division at Lewis-Clark State College. Randy earned his
J.D. from the University of Idaho College Of Law and is an experienced
trainer in the topics of business law, business statistics, tax
accounting, leadership and human resource management. To register for
the workshop call the Small Business Development Center at (208)
792-2465 or email isbdc at lcsc.edu. Registration fee is $10 to cover cost
of materials. Registration deadline is 5 p.m., September 14th.
