The UI knows that most people lack the resources to go to district court and therefore will call your bluff. I have tried to get this changed by having the inforcement to the law be the Attorney Generals Office other than the district court. My proposed bill has never gotten out of committee. One should not give up hope though. I tried unsuccessfully to get the penalties raised for violating the open meeting law. I see that in the last session that they were increases some.
