[Vision2020] Selected regional population growth estimates

From a 19 March 2009 US Census Bureau press release, the following one-year 
growth rates were gleaned for selected Idaho, Oregon, and Washington cities. 
These growth rate estimates are for the twelve months ended eight and 
two-thirds months ago.

Population estimates for some of the 100 fastest growing metropolitan 
statistical areas July 1, 2007 to July 1, 2008:

3. Kennewick-Pasco-Richland, WA -- 7,936 from 227,905 to 236,841, a 3.5 
percent increase

8. Idaho Falls, ID -- population increase 3,862 from 119,133 to 122,995, a 3.2 
percent increase

9. Logan UT-ID -- population increase 3,917 from 121,153 to 125,070, a 3.2 
percent increase

13. Bend, OR -- population increase 4,657 from 153,799 to 158,456, a 3.0 
percent increase

15. Olympia, WA -- population increase 7,015 from 238,166 to 245,181, a 2.9 
percent increase

25. Coeur d'Alene, ID -- population increase 3,264 from 134,211 to 137,475, a 
2.4 percent increase

34. Boise City-Nampa, ID -- population increase 13,153 from 586,600 to 
599,753, a 2.2 percent increase

39. Bellingham, WA -- population increase 4,176 from 192,353 to 196,529, a 2.2 
percent increase

55. Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, OR-WA -- population increase 40,971 from 
2,166,491 to 2,207,462, a 1.9 percent increase

62. Mount Vernon-Anacortes, WA -- population increase 2,102 from 115,898 to 
118,000, a 1.8 percent increase

91. Spokane, WA -- population increase 6,673 from 456,004 to 462,677, a 1.5 
percent increase

100. Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, WA -- population increase 46,588 from 3,298,225 
to 3,344,813, a 1.4 percent increase
