Barbie is a vacuous vixen, a marketing marvel, and a commercial colossus. She 
is also a cultural couturiere, a biological boondoggle, and a familial 
failure. If, at age fifty, the world could see her grandchildren instead of 
quite so much fashionista folderol, she would be more respectably successful 
and have more substantial accomplishment to celebrate.
