From its users the on-line dating site OKCupid receives questions which are in 
turn answered by hundreds of thousands of its other users. Considering that 
the average political poll may have a low single-digit number of thousands of 
respondents, the response to these OKCupid questions likely is much more 
indicative of the state of the public's mind.

The folks at OKCupid have decided to start a blog to share some of these 
results with the public. No OKCupid membership is required to view the 
results; there may be more interesting and discussable material yet to come.

The inaugural post begins with four questions with between just over a quarter 
of a million to just under a half a million respondents.
