[Vision2020] Smoking Ban-Hit them where it hurts!

The original law came in from the Feds. The State is just adopting it.
Otherwise, the Constitution Federal law would trump anything the State would
do.

The State of Idaho, republican majority, passed the 2004 clean indoor air
act. The Feds have nothing to do with Idaho's clean indoor air laws.

Quit spreading lies...

" 'Politics is the art of controlling your environment.' That is one of the
key things I learned in these years, and I learned it the hard way. Anybody
who thinks that 'it doesn't matter who's President' has never been Drafted
and sent off to fight and die in a vicious, stupid War on the other side of
the World -- or been beaten and gassed by Police for trespassing on public
property -- or been hounded by the IRS for purely political reasons -- or
locked up in the Cook County Jail with a broken nose and no phone access and
twelve perverts wanting to stomp your ass in the shower. That is when it
matters who is President or Governor or Police Chief. That is when you will
wish you had voted." - Hunter S. Thompson

The Federal Government is the one that passed the "clean air indoor act."
That is what I meant. It is those liberals that did all this to us. Not our
city council. The city council is reacting to what the government gave them
the right to do.

Sunil stated:

"Liberals got rid of those amendments? I don't think so."

I agree with you, Sunil.

I would hardly consider Bill Lambert, Wayne Krauss, Walter Steed, John
Weber, and Dan Carscallen to be liberals.

On a related issue: To paraphrase g and like-minded members of Moscow's
troglodyte culture . . .

"If you do away with laws, you have no crimes.

If you do away with crimes, you have no criminals.

No laws. No crimes. No criminals.

Problem solved"

Besides, it is always easier to get forgiveness than it is to get permission
