I was simply responding to Phil Roderick's less-than-civil answer.

I would NEVER EVER suggest or imply that the soundness of a person's
judgment is in ANY  way related to that person's veteran status, and it
cuts deep, Ms. Hovey, that you would even insinuate that I would make such
a reference.
