Gary,

I guess you could ask John McCain about where the 
  limits are; based on his behavior, he seemed to believe in 1998 that it was 
  open season on Hillary Clinton, Janet Reno, and Chelsea Clinton, when the last 
  was 18.  At least she was no longer legally a 
  child.
