While everyone who voted for "The One" is highly suspect, when I refer to obots I have in mind people such as Olbermann, Mathews, and folks such as this poor fool.

While I admire your purported willingness to cut GW slack in his early going many, including a few from this forum, started their yammering well before his oath was given, kept it up incessantly through all eight years, and haven't managed to let it go even now. To be of the opinion that many of these automatons are a might caught up in the wonderfulness that is Barry does not seem to me to be beyond the pale.

As one who voted for President Obama, a couple of things. Some on the right insist on calling Obama voters "Obots", Mr. Obama himself as "The One", the "Obamessiah", etc. Claptrap. I simply preferred the Obama/Biden ticket to the McCain/Palin ticket. I was not, and am not, under any illusions that Barack Obama is "The One", that he is the picture of perfection, and will cure all the nation's and society's ills. Is he flawed? Sure. Will he do things I don't like? Undoubtedly. Will he do things that the Rush Limbaughs and Ann (shudder) Coulters of the world won't like? No duh. But he's not even been in office a week yet. Even I, being (apparently) evil in the eyes of Mr. Limbaugh and Ms. Coulter because of my moderately liberal leanings, was willing to give George W. Bush a chance this early in his first term. Oh, and completely off-topic, great win last night Idaho! Next up in the Dome Jan. 29th, Boise State...... Carl Westberg Jr.
