Is there any chance that I can get a photo of Chief McAllister, along with any other photos from his past associated with the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department and some text detaling his career?
 
I would like to add it to "Moscow Cares".

Retired Fire chief Passes
 
Moscow, Idaho, January 2, 2009 – It is with great sadness that the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD) and the City of Moscow announce the death of retired Fire Chief Ralph McAllister who passed away December 31st at the age of 87 due to complications from pneumonia.
 
Chief McAllister served the community and the MVFD for over 31 years. First as a volunteer firefighter for 12 years before his employment as the 12th Chief of the MVFD; a position in which he served for over 19 years from 1968 until his retirement in 1987.
 
On behalf of the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department and City of Moscow, the community extends its condolences to Chief McAllister’s family.
 
Information regarding services for Chief McAllister is pending.
