Moscow teen dies in car accident

A Moscow teen died this morning in a vehicle rollover that sheriff's 
officials say remains under investigation.

Samuel McLam, 17, was found deceased this morning after his Toyota Tundra 
left the roadway and rolled 200 feet down a gulch. McLam was driving north 
toward Moscow on Coyote Gulch Road in Nez Perce County when sheriff's 
deputies believe he left the roadway. Both McLam and passenger Mychael 
Washington were ejected from the pickup truck following the crash.

Sheriff's Cpl. Jay Colvin said Washington was able to climb out of the 
gulch and flagged down a passing car at about 7:20 a.m. Colvin said 
Washington did not require immediate medical treatment.
