No U.S. service members died while supporting combat operations in Iraq,
confirmed by the Defense Department from December 11, 2009 through
December 17, 2009:

December 11, 2009 – December 17, 2009
Killed: 0; Wounded in action: 21

March 19, 2003 – December 17, 2009
Killed: 4,360; wounded in action: 31,603

The following U.S. service members died while supporting combat operations
in Afghanistan, confirmed by the Defense Department from December 11, 2009
through December 17, 2009:

Air Force Tech. Sgt. Anthony C. Campbell Jr., 35, of Florence, Kentucky;
assigned to the 932nd Civil Engineer Squadron, Scott Air Force Base,
Illinois.

Marine Pfc. Serge Kropov, 21, of Hawley, Pennsylvania; assigned to Marine
Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force,
Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California.

Army Sgt. Albert D. Ware, 27, of Chicago, Illinois; assigned to the 782nd
Combat Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division,
Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
