How much ya wanna bet that the kids were under the influence?  That alone
provides sufficient cause to search their persons and, since they
discharged a firearm within their residence . . .

There may also have been some paraphanalia in the open suggesting that the
kids were growing the stuff, which kinda explains why 911 calls are rarely
(I'm guessin' "never") made from crack houses.
