[Vision2020] Keith Allred running for Goverinor

Roger,
 
I must disagree. By Keith running he can put the interests of the common people on the table.
 
If he ran for the Republican Nomination he would be ignored because Otter is an Incumbent and will get renominated.
 
The focus will be on the General Election, and the issues he brings up will be real issues that both Republicans and Democrats, and Moderates are interested in discussing.
 
The Republican Party has shut out all debate on topics that the People of Idaho, including Republicans, want to discuss.  
 
Otter has not done a good job of managing Idaho's limited resources. He wastes it. The focus of Otter should be education, agricultural, jobs, and health care. Yet, his focus has been on roads. Important yes, but not more important than education, agriculture, jobs, and health care. 
 
He raises taxes on the poor, and cuts them for the rich. He is slashing health care for the State's most vulnerable. 
 
I have to say, that while I agree with Otter on many topics like opposition to Bush's plans to reduce privacy rights, I do not think he has done a good job as a governor and would like to see someone else in the office, like Andreas, Batt, or Allred. 
 
Otter won with just 52.7% of the vote last election, he is very vulnurable. I think a candidate known for bringing together Republicans, Democrates and Moderates could defeat him and bring items that are important to everyday people in this great State once again on the agenda.

Keith ALLred The Chairman of the non-partisan group "The Common Interest" is running for Goverinnor as Democrat. The Common Interest has been a good group thad does researh on the issues and puts out detailed papers an a factual bases. A lot of legistators have looked to them for information. I think that running for Governor  is an unwise dession on Keiths part. It undermines his credibility and also that of The Common Interest.
