[Vision2020] Options to Pay Cuts and Lay-offs

When laying off employees would be considered simply too unfair . . .

When pay cuts would seem too financially restricting . . .

When furloughs threaten to leave a department far too under-staffed.

There is always the "other" option. I am talling about reducing the budget
for facilities (buildings, warehouses, offices, etc. etc.).

Maybe the University of Idaho did promise its new president, Dr. Duane Nellis,
a salary that permits him to eat three meals a day, a residence with running
water, and a health insurance policy that allows him to phone in sick once in
a while.

But, how about one item that has not been addressed, one item where Idaho can
recoup some of its investment in Dr. Duane Nellis.

I am taling, of course about his . . .

How about it Idaho?

Anybody out there have some other ideas where Idaho can trim its budget?
