I can't say much about stupid cats. Ours seems to think bringing us a live mouse trains us to kill them, but sometimes she just makes pets of them and brings them food...I must say I am tired of killing those "sweet" little critters with a broomstick (the Witch weapon of choice) to reassure the cat. However, I am even less willing to have them under my stove, in my flour bin, and making nests of my antique paper products...En Garde, Thou Mouskin!!!

Subject: [Vision2020] Stupid mouse
So my 2 cats woke me up at 2:00 this morning chasing a mouse that somehow found its way into my apartment. One of the not too bright guys even caught it about 4 times in his mouth, only to let it go. I guess it is catch and release with him. I reluctantly bought a couple of mousetraps this morning, and I tried peanut butter as the bait, per the suggestion from the makers of the trap. Does anyone have experience with a better bait which will help send our guest into mouse heaven? Carl Westberg Jr.
