Having been born and raised (until I enlisted minutes after my 18th birthday) in Los Angeles, I love and miss what Southern California was . . . and dreadfully regret what it has become.

So . . . to those of you who express animosity and distaste for a region you merely passed through, you have absolutely no concept of the 60s in Los Angeles and . . .

Hitchhiking through Topanga Canyon to go surfing at Malibu

Cheering on the Dodgers from the outfield bleachers of the LA Coliseum

Chillin' out at MacArthur Park on a Saturday afternoon

Cruisin' Ventura Boulevard on a Friday night

Bummin' down Van Nuys Boulevard with your buddies on Saturday night

. . . just to list a few memories of mine.

So, although Moscow may be my adopted home, I will always have loads of faded photos and fond memories of where I was back when . . .

As always . . .

Seeya round town, Moscow.
