[Vision2020] A question about issues

In a rather obvious and probably ultimately unsuccessful ploy to
distract attention from the God/Gustav/RepubCon debacle, I'd like to
pose the following question to the group:

This election cycle, which issues are you completely inflexible on, and
which issues would you give up to the "opposition" if you could
guarantee that your concerns about those inflexible issues were met?

For example, your main issue this election is crime rates in large
cities and you will absolutely not vote for anyone who didn't have a
comprehensive plan to reduce that crime rate but you will go ahead and
let them impose trade embargoes against Canada if it would mean that
cracking down on the crime wave was to be a high priority.

Just an attempt to look for common ground. Of course, if no candidate
cares about crimes rates or whatever you pet issue is, then you're screwed.

This year is such a strange year for politics, it might be worth getting
some of these things out on the table for examination.

Paul
