[Vision2020] Say What?

Oh my gosh,

Do you mean the "dark side" reference was a joke, like the t-shirts I've seen that say "Come to the dark side-- we have cookies" and that Star Wars has no ontological significance? I must examine Mr. London's missive again!

My head spins.

I know Bill London, as many of you do, and I know he was speaking tongue-in-bearded-cheek about God and the hurricane -- slyly pointing out that religious conservatives have co-opted weather trategies as God's means of judgment on whatever group they hate at the moment, or whatever group is meeting where the weather's bad.

I'm not much for jokes about God using weather to score political points, but, Dan, you've got to know that Bill London has never called for, reveled in, or excused harm of any sort to anyone.
