I thought it was probably at least exaggerated, so stalled on forwarding it to friends since being burnt here by the Palin banned book list.  Don

Figi Water inc. produces more than a million bottles a day while more than half the population of Figi do not have reliable drinking water.
 
Americans used spent $15 Billion on 50 BILLION bottles in 2006 and only recycled 20%!! (I've heard it only take about 30 bottles to make a sweatshirt)
 
That's 1.5 million barrels of crude that could have run 100k cars for the entire year, plus the gas to transport the stuff around that already comes directly into your house
