Moscow Arts Commission Announces the Recipients of the 2008 Mayor's Arts
Awards

 

Moscow, Idaho, October 22, 2008 - The City of Moscow along with the
Moscow Arts Commission and Mayor Nancy Chaney would like to recognize
the following people who will receive an award at the 2008 Mayor's Arts
Awards: 

 

George Roberts -Excellence in the Arts Lifetime Achievement

Jennifer Bogut - Outstanding Achievement in Arts Education

Goran Fazil - UI Art Student

Moscow Food Co-op - Outstanding Business Co-ntributions

Phil & LeAn Lee - Hair & Face Salon Private Art with Public Impact 

Jon Anderson - Patron of the Arts

Earl Aldrich - Honorable Mention

 

Recipients will be honored at the 1912 Center at 7 p.m. on Thursday,
October 30, 2008.

 

Please join us along with local artists and community members in
congratulating these individuals and organizations who have given so
much to the arts in Moscow.   Awards made by local wood artist Jim
Christiansen.

 

No-host bar, wine tasting provided by Nectar and light fare will be
served.
