  Tom,

  I think it's fair to ask Roger to substantiate his claim re. Ayers.  But since he's apologized for the accusation about Shirley, I think maybe we could leave that out from now on.  Asides from inventing a time machine and changing the past, I'm not sure he can do anything else about it now.
