[Vision2020] McCain and the US Flag Lapel Pin

Has anybody else noticed that, although Barack Obama did, John McCain did 
NOT wear a US flag lapel pin while introducing Sarah Palin as his running 
mate or at ANY of the three presidential debates?

To paraphrase a question posed, months ago, to another presidential 
candidate . . .

Why is John McCain so ashamed to be an American?
