Paul,

You're a good man.

I understand the terms perfectly well.

The terms, however, do not leave room for extended exchanges which
some of these subjects require and while I have not exactly honored
the terms, I have not honored them to the same extent that others have
not.

The difference is that my opinions offend some people who resort to
the agreement card after the race card didn't work.

Anyhoo, I would love to pursue one thread to its end but if we keep
the terms as a hard and fast rule, I cannot respond to the many
responses I receive nor can I respond to other threads started by
others (some who do not honor the gentleman's agreement).

You take too much upon yourself when you say "we" because there is no
"we" here. There's a bunch of "I"s, including I.

I would love to go back to my first post which I addressed to Joe
Campbell and have every Obama supporter engage that point.

It was something like this — Obama has publicly disassociated himself
from Tony Rezko, Louis Farrakhan, and Rev. Wright because of their
corruption and/or America-hating stances. He has not disassociated
himself from Bill Ayers, however, who is no less corrupt or America
hating.

Given the standard that Barack Obama established with the other three,
does Barack Obama have a moral obligation to disassociate himself from
Bill Ayers?

This is the reason for "No Weatherman," remember?

Let me frame my question another way so that others might understand it.

Some say that I am a "piece of moral slime properly to be shunned by
all decent people." This same person is a very LOUD supporter of
Barack Obama.

But if a pseudonymous personality who poses no threat to national
security or anyone else is a "piece of moral slime properly to be
shunned by all decent people," and Bill Ayers is an unrepentant
domestic terrorist who regrets that he did not do enough, what should
Barack Obama do with him?
