And another case of Bill Thompson not filing a counter-rebuttal brief to Sitler's paid counselor's brief on Sitler's likelihood to reoffend -- even though the state's experts wished to do so?  No counter-rebuttal brief just like no counter-argument is likely taken by the court as agreement or no serious disagreement.


Latah county is considered by many attorneys (in private anyway) as a defense counsel's paradise.

  The Moscow Massacre could have been prevented had Bill Thompson argued for jailing Hamilton for a probation violation a week before the massacre.  He didn't.  He let the defense attorney argue for no jail and then made no counter-argument.  Hamilton had gone a year without seeking probation required anger management counseling. Time in jail might have led Hamilton to procure this obviously much needed counseling -- and Oh, four people would probably still be alive and the town image not quite so besmirched.

    candidates deals with misdemeanor probation.  You will remember that lack
