Even though Wrght's Church has done some good. His rhetoric is still disgusting and 20 years association wth some one who makes those kinds of statements is questionable.

Obama's candidacy for the state Senate was announced at a series of
house parties set up by his predecessor, Alice Palmer. One of those
parties was at Bill Ayers' house; Alice Palmer confirms that she was
the one that arranged the party.. Ayers and Obama had met previously,
when he was appointed (by Debbie Leff) to the board of the Chicago
Annenberg Challenge.

This is the extent of the facts. Seriously. Anything beyond that is innuendo.

Incidentally, Steve Diamond doesn't know his ass from his elbow in
terms of nonprofit governance. Members of grantee agencies (like
Ayers) and nonprofit executives (like Ayers) are strictly forbidden by
most granting agencies (like Annenberg) from being involved in the
board selection process. This is, of course, to avoid the creation of
a "domesticated" board unwilling to counterbalance the activities of
the nonprofit executive.
